What Is the Back Stage Actors' Yellow Pages?
Whether you're a newbie or an experienced performer, you need all kinds of products and services: headshots, acting classes, rehearsal space, accounting help, and so forth. So we decided to create access to all those resources in a single spot.

From New York to Los Angeles, from Chicago to Tampa, we will slowly be building this directory into the most comprehensive resource for actors, dancers, and singers in North America.

What Is a Category and Subcategory?
We divided all the resources as simply as possible. A category is a very general type of service or product -- for instance, Classes & Coaches. Then, within that, we divide the category into carefully selected subcategories, such as Acting Teachers, Private Coaches, Workshops, and Summer Training.

How Can I Search for Products and Services?
You can search several ways. First, the easiest is to look at the categories at left. If you click on the category name -- say, Learn Skills -- all the listings for that category will appear. Under each category are a number of subcategories. Click on the red triangle next to the category name to see all the subcategories. Then, click on the subcategory name to see all the listings.

Now, if you're in New York, you probably want to weed out listings for all other areas. So, you'll notice along the top of every page are two dropdown menus: Select a Category and Select a Region. Choose a category, then select a region, then click on GO. If you want to add a keyword -- say, "voiceovers" -- and click GO.

What Does Each Listing Offer?
Listings offer a range of information, from basic contact information like company address, email and phone, to detailed descriptions of the company's offerings. Many offer photos, video, links, a Google Map, and downloads.

What Is a 'Featured Listing'?
Similar to ads in a telephone book, a Featured Listing is a way in which companies advertise in the Actors' Yellow Pages. These listings are more complete than a basic listing. Plus, we rotate these listings, so each time you look at the Yellow Pages homepage, a different group of listings will appear.
